OpTic J is a co-founder of OpTic Gaming and has served as an advisor over the past few years. In the past he has worked with Machinima as the head of their Partnership Network and at Google as the Manager of Gaming Partnerships. OpTicJ has since left Google and returned to OpTic Gaming as the Chief Operating Officer and continues to be a core member of the Old Men of OpTic.
In 2008, Hutch discovered sniping gameplay before he became exposed to OpTic. Fascinated by the sniping abilities showcased in their small squad, Hutch began honing his own sniping gameplay. Before competitive Call of Duty started to make an impact in the community, teams like OpTic obtained their popularity through their sniping skills. After contacting H3CZ through YouTube Hutch earned his spot on the roster. Since then, Hutch has worked with Machinima, before leaving in 2012 and has continued producing videos on his personal YouTube channel. Outside of YouTube, he also maintains his own livestream on Twitch and plays as one of the Old Men of OpTic.
Considered to be one of the founding members of OpTic, Di3sel was a competitive player during the Call of Duty 2 lifespan when he was invited by OpTicJ in 2006 to try out for the team. In addition to Call of Duty, Di3sel also dove into competitive Gears of War for a while before meeting H3cz in the midst of the Call of Duty 4 season. Although he has migrated away from Call of Duty as a competitive player, Di3sel remains as a vital part of the brand and continues to participate as one of the Old Men of OpTic.
H3CZ was first introduced to OpTic Gaming as an NxGamers referee where he judged matches the team played in. Since then, H3CZ has successfully transformed OpTic Gaming into the most favorited organizations in eSports. However, outside of OpTic’s competitive presence, H3CZ has also continued his passion for gaming by joining with friends OpTicJ, OpTic Di3seL, and Fwiz in the “Old Men of OpTic,” where they positively promote gaming and friendship.
